Thanksgiving was ok, a little tough to do with the low-carb thing, but I still ate more than enough.
The parents’ new place in Jupiter, FL is very nice. I particularly enjoy all of the windows and the lake out back with the huge fountain! Very cool.
Now if I could just pass out at noon Sunday and wake up at 11pm in Atlanta, instead of driving all that time, I’d gladly do it…

Today, mid-day, my dear fiancee and I jump into my freshly inspected and topped-off vehicle and head down to visit the fam-damily, as they say…
Whenever I end up completing the 650 mile journey, I’ll stay there til Sunday evening, at which time, I will hopefully be either on the road or back up here in Atlanta…
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I never post quizzes, due to personal feelings about them, but this seems a little more legitimate than “Which Backstreet Boy’s Favorite Cuisine Would You Eat if You Were an Animal?”
All Set for Return of the King?
You scored 10 out of a possible 10
The King. You not only know the story back to front and can tell Merry and Pippin apart, you have all the miniatures and will be first in line to buy the complete trilogy on DVD.

More wedding plans have been made.
Let’s see, we have now reserved:
The Venue (Flint Hill)
The Officiant (Rick Prigmore)
The DJ (Avalanche Entertainment)
I guess that’s it for now. We are still working out the details on a photographer, videographer, and, of course, the honeymoon.

Wonderful. My bathroom flooded this morning.
I got in the shower, and when I got out, the toilet had overflowed, but not just overflowed until the tank was empty. It kept running. It covered the carpet with wall-to-wall water, a quarter inch above the top of the pile, in a puddle all the way out into my bedroom.
It sucks.
Post was very quick about fixing it, though, and hopefully I will come home to a clean, dry bathroom.

I saw The Matrix Revolutions last night at a godawful hour… Hmm, not actually a godawful hour, but I feel like it was. Am I just becoming an old man already?
I sure hope not. My dad accused Heather and me of being an old married couple when I gave him an excuse for our not attending any UGA games this year, citing our preference to sit in front of a big TV and swill whatever we want, rather than making the rather odious trek among hordes of people.
Going to work all week makes me so damn tired, and I don’t even do much. I just sit here. Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve never worked a real job in my life and college allowed me to really have an insane schedule (stay up until 3:30, sleep til 10, class 12-3, work 6-10).
I’ll be heading up to Athens next Tuesday, as Neal Boortz will be speaking at my alma mater, and ya can’t beat a $2 show.
