Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro, Atlantic Station - (404) 815-8800
You can see from the title that this is just an informational post.
I often expect all the information I could possibly need will be indexed by Google, or exist somewhere on the web. That’s not always the way it happens.
Case in point: I was trying to make a reservation for us to eat with the in-laws tonight at the new Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro in Atlantic Station, but the coupon I got last week during the grand opening doesn’t have a phone number for the restraurant. Quick Google (Web/Local) search — no number. Went to the woefully stagnant atlanticstation.com’s listing for the restaurant — no number there either.
I eventually had to look up the number of the investment group that built this restaurant, and call and ask their receptionist for the number. My scavenger hunt paid off.
Why, you ask, am I even writing about this? Hopefully this post will get indexed in Google soon so that others don’t have to perform the same laborious investigation.
The number for Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro in Atlantic Station is (404) 815-8800.

I was at your restaurant on 11/28/2005, Monday around 5:00 pm and I fell as I was entering into the Foyer because there was water on the floor from where it had been raining. There were no caution signs up and when I notified the hostess at the front desk, she told me that is the way the floor was designed with an attitude. I also told the waiter that waited on us and he apologized and got the manager and he said he would get some more mats and put there. He did not ask if I was hurt or anything until he came back later. I wasn’t offered dinner or a drink nor did the manager come back before we left to see if I was okay because I did state to him that I hurt my knees when I fell. I hope your hostess didn’t mean what she said about the floor was design to make people fall. Maybe in the future you will fix the floors before it rains again so that no one else will fall. I was told that other people had complained earlier about the floors being wet.
Thanks,
Omeshia Alford

Um, hi Omeshia– it’s good to meet you. It seems you’ve inadvertently made my exact point about the dearth of info on this restaurant online.
I’m sorry to hear about your mishap, but I regret to say that I’m not officially linked to this restaurant beyond the “Free Appetizer” coupon in my wallet. As I said in the original post, I was simply attempting to provide the phone number for the restaurant since I had a great deal of trouble finding it online. In other words, I’m just a normal guy with very little authenticity regarding this restaurant aside from my proximity and recent patronage.
I’d imagine that the (riotously deadpan) National Floor Safety Institute would be interested in your story, and it wouldn’t hurt to give OSHA a call.
The official URL for sending your comments or questions to the Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro restaurant appears to be http://www.copelandscheesecakebistro.com/comment/, but as I said, I’m not a representative of that company and thus can’t make any official statements to that effect.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else, and I sincerely hope you get some satisfaction on the matter. Until then, please be careful in the rain!

[...] Ha! Ya make one post about something on the web and people think you’re the ultimate authority. Some poor lady made the quite uncommon mistake of confusing me for a restaurant. [...]

What? Huh? Do people STILL think that garrettvonk.com = the official web site for Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro?

Thank you for the number that place is ghetto. They charged me twice for dinner without my consent. That’s why I need to contact them, they definetly don’t have their stuff together. I don’t even want to get into the horrible dinner experience we had there.

As opposed to charging you twice for dinner with your consent?
That’s fine, waiter, and if you’d like, go ahead and charge me twice for this. My meal was that good.
Anyway, in all seriousness, I’m glad people are still Googling me to find the phone number. It’s good to be Googled every now and then.

Thank you so much for your exquiste inquiry on the number for Copeland’s Restaraunt. I still had a hard time finding the restaraunt by searching google, however I did find it!(thanks alot…)
Your information is still helpful, yet 2 years later. The food is delicious and the atomsphere is great, but it is extremely hard to access on line.
Thank you again. Next time you and your wife decide to enjoy Copeland’s, drinks on me!!!
