I picked up bottles of Charles Shaw Chardonnay and Shiraz this weekend… the Chardonnay is definitely drinkable for the price (have yet to try the Shiraz). Since David and I are working very hard at cutting our food budget down from its standard $1000/month (yes, we dine out frequently), ready availability of a cheap, drinkable wine is good news for me! Now if only they would come out with a bourbon that tasted exactly like Maker’s Mark for 1/2 the price…….
