OK, I am running around like crazy between work, travel, and other things, but I feel I owe it to the internets to give you a quick rundown of the highlights of our recent voyage.
Memorable things in Ireland
- The Guinness Storehouse tour in Dublin
- Doolin
- Galway
- The Burren, and the rest of Connemara
- The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, where we learned that the Auburn Marching Band, too, plays Glory, Glory.
Memorable things in London
- Doing the most touristy thing we could think of and boarding a double-decker tour bus.
- Seeing Wicked on the West End.
- Seeing Dennis and Mrs. Kucinich, also attending Wicked, in the lobby. Not making any Munchkin jokes, either.
- The London Eye
- Grabbing old-timey guns at the Tower of London
